Dr. Nasser Derakshan has 20 years of experience at Smiles by Design and is registered with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons as a Certified Specialist in Periodontics, making him an expert on gum disease. He earned in DMD degree in 1976 in his homeland of Iran. He earned his Canadian Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and completed a two-year residency in Periodontics at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
